How to make Bloves sauce

Being well-known as a Mukbang Youtuber, the channel of Bloveslife presents dozens of eating seafood videos with a homemade sauce. Bethany Gaskin as the content creator also sells her sauces which are called Blove’s sauce smackalicious. If you have not tried it but kind of wonder how does it taste like, just try the Bloves sauce recipe which the taste is totally similar to the packaged ones. For the appearance, the sauce is red and watery with some pulps.

The ingredients required are quite many, but the taste is so rich. The listed steps and ingredients below are referred to her own Youtube channel. So this recipe is a hundred percent authentic. Once you taste it, you could still make some adjustments to your preference. In fact, the packaged ones are available in three different flavors that are garlic, mild, and spicy. This recipe is for the garlic one, so for the spicy and garlic ones, you could just add more garlic or garlic powder and peppers.   

Ingredients 

  • Accent salt, 1 tablespoon
  • Oregano, 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Onion powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Chili pepper, 1 tablespoon
  • White or Black pepper powder, 1 tablespoon
  • Lemon pepper, 1 tablespoon
  • Cayenne pepper, 1 tablespoon
  • Crushed red pepper, 1 tablespoon
  • Paprika, 1 tablespoon
  • Cajun spice mix, 1 tablespoon
  • Old bay seasoning, 2 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar, 2 tablespoon
  • Worcestershire sauce, 1 tablespoon
  • Tabasco sauce or any other hot sauce, 1 tablespoon
  • Fresh lemon juice, 1 whole pressed
  • Vinegar, 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, 4 bulbs minced
  • Onion, ¼ (large one) or ½ (small one) minced
  • Ginger, 3 tablespoons minced.
  • Unsalted butter, 4 sticks

Instructions for making Bloves sauce

  1. Mix up all the dry ingredients: salt, brown sugar, oregano, garlic powder, onion powder, chili pepper, white/black pepper powder, lemon pepper, cayenne pepper, crushed red pepper, paprika, Cajun spice mix, and old bay seasoning.
  2. Melt the butter sticks. Add in the minced onions and garlic and sauté them for a half minute or until they are soft and aromatic.
  3. Then pour in the ginger, vinegar, lemon juice, Tabasco sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir until combined.
  4. Finally, add the mixed dry ingredients to the mixture. Keep the heat until the mixture is boiled. Keep stirring and remove the heat once the sauce is boiled and well-combined. Before transferring it into a bowl, taste it first.
  5. Let the sauce cool down and t is ready to serve. 

In closing 

As a variation, you could add more ingredients to the Bloves sauce recipe like beer, honey, Korean red paste, or chili oil. A useful tip: you can add the salt later. As the seasonings already have salt in them, adding salt might make the sauce too salty. If you do not like it salty, you can skip or add the salt while boiling it. Do not blend or mince the onion and garlic to smooth. Pulps are the essential parts of this sauce.

You need approximately 15 minutes to make the sauce. For the recipe above, you could make a big bowl of sauce. Drizzle the sauce over the boiled seafood or you can just dip and sip it.
